Vintage Napco Christmas Shopper Girl Planter with Poodle – 1950s Japan MCM

Step right into a 1950s magical Christmas with this darling vintage Napco Christmas shopper girl and her ever-so-fancy poodle companion! Straight out of mid-century Japan, she’s dressed to impress in her pine green holiday coat, trimmed in snowy spaghetti detail, over her pastel green dress adorned with dainty bows. Her sweet little face glows with rosy cheeks, long fluttery lashes, and perfectly painted red lips.

With arms full of Christmas presents, she happily strolls with her white poodle pup—who’s sporting a gold-sponged coat and a matching green bow to coordinate with her stylish mistress. The little string leash is present, though I’m not sure if it’s original—either way, it’s simply charming!

This whimsical cutie is absolutely overflowing with vintage Christmas charm. She’s in excellent condition with bright colors and a glossy glaze, minimal age wear, and just the tiniest bit of missing spaghetti trim from the pom-pom on her hood and coat trim, and a couple minuscule paint flakes, glaze pops, tiniest of darkening inside the planter. She’s marked AX27518, keeps her silver Napco foil label, measures approx. 5" inches tall, and is so ready to bring joy to your holiday display.
