Vintage Holt Howard 1959 Santa with Reindeer Pulling Sleigh Japan Mid-Century | Cray4mestyle

Here is a vintage 1959 Holt-Howard Santa sitting on a sleigh that is also a planter and he has just the right amount of whimsy with his head tilted and eyes looking a bit sideways, his beard has gold curly-qs, and his jolly smile is adorable. Santa wears his traditional red suit, green mittens, and booties. Santa’s sleigh is highly detailed with lots of gold filigree swirls. Santa holds gold reins in his hands for his Reindeer candleholder. The reindeer is really magnificent with his gold starry-eyes, gold atomic starbursts on his body and his sweet little red nose. Santa sleigh measures approx.. 4” inches high and is marked on the bottom © 1959 Holt-Howard. Reindeer candle holder measures approx.. 3 1/2” inches high and is marked on the bottom © 1959 Holt-Howard. There are No chips, No cracks, some minimal crazing. The set originally came with two reindeer and this listing is for one. The set has age related wear but No chips, No cracks. Santa’s hat has some missing and flaking paint, Reindeer has some tiny dark spots/scuffs. Gold reins are present but not fully intact and have deteriorated over the years.
