Rare Vintage Christmas Lipper & Mann 1950s NOEL Drunken Pixie Elves Lamppost Figurine Set with BOX MCM Japan
An incredibly rare set of 4 whimsical pixies by Lipper & Mann, made in Japan in 1956. These delightful elves, and Santa’s tipsy little helpers, cling to street-lamps spelling out "NOEL," each standing approximately 4 ½ inches tall. Their playful poses and adorable faces capture the magic and merriment of the season, as they struggle to steady themselves after one too many cups of holiday cheer!
The set is in excellent vintage condition:
• No chips or cracks
• Minimal paint wear is present on pixies and lamp posts, but primarily on the back of the "N" figurine
• A touch of overpaint on one pixie's face (a dab of extra red), which does not detract from the charm or uniqueness of this rare set.
The colors remain vibrant, with a rich, shiny glaze that enhances their festive appeal. Each figure retains its original "Japan" tag.
BONUS: Includes the original box!
The set comes with its original box, which is exceptionally well-preserved, and the graphics remain crisp and vibrant. While there is some minor fading on the box's front, the structural integrity remains intact—a true treasure for collectors.
