Vintage Anthropomorphic Enesco PY Lil Little Bear Cookie Jar VERY HTF Japan 50s
Incredibly rare and hard-to-find Enesco Lil Bear Cookie Jar that was made in Japan in the 1950s. This has got to be one of the cutest pieces made by Enesco and the cookie jar in the Lil Bear set is the most rare and hard to find item. This lil fellow has the most adorable face with big expressive eyes and a lil smile. He measures approx. 8" tall x 10" wide. Glares from camera.

Condition:
Overall, the condition is very good. There is a ding on the nose, lid and blue flower, flea bites on pink flower. I don’t know if the ding on the lid and the blue flower were being restored because they feel like smooth unglazed ceramic that just needs paint/glazing. Minimal age related crazing. Perhaps the new owner can take it to a ceramicist to restore these two areas. There are some tiny fleabites on the rim and under the lid. Glaze craze line on the back. Absolutely adorable piece this one is and looks beautiful on the shelf or in a cabinet.
