Vintage Lefton Bluebird Teabag Holder Kitsch Japan Norcrest Blue 1950s Retro Mid-Century

This is one of the most collectible pieces from the Lefton Blue Bird set - the tea bag holder. Tea bag holder measures approx. 3.75" across. The phrase “I Will Hold The Bag" is hand painted on the side of the little bird’s head. It has the number #7353 stamped in green on the underside, with the "ESD Japan" logo. Tea bag holder dates to the 1950s. Condition is very good for its age but there is a ding on the underside rim so please view all photos. Colors are bright and the glaze is shiny, minimal crazing and age-related wear, still wonderful. This is a very rare and hard to find item.
